Profile Picture Pass

Requests to use my art as a profile picture is one of the most common questions I get on social media.

I am a big believer in artists being compensated for the use of their work! Everyone is able to enjoy it for free when I share it online myself~ When people want to use it for their own things, I think it is fair to purchase the use. ♡ Just like you buy a sticker to put on your laptop or water bottle, using my art for your profile picture is like an online sticker.

I’m so glad people enjoy my work, and I appreciate when they recognize the value and support me in this way! If you use the artwork of other artists as profile pictures on social media as well (make sure to get permission first~), I encourage you to see if they have a Ko-fi or other platform that takes tips and tip them for the use when you can. 🙂

Make sure to always credit and tag me @katrinawoldart in your bio when using my art as your profile picture! When it is uncredited, others don’t know where to find me, and it increases the chances of it being stolen and sold (which I have had happen, and it is very difficult to get fixed!). Thank you!!
